The Graduate Committee is pleased to award an honorable mention to Jeffrey Mei: "Jeff has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication, initiative, and care for student learning that goes well above and beyond the expectations of a TA." "After each homework assignment, he provides me with a detailed summary of student performance, highlighting specific problems where students struggled and recommending topics to revisit in class." "He prepared thoroughly for each session, delivering polished and engaging presentations. He even took the initiative to update my slides with new material, enhancing the content!" "Beyond fulfilling his regular duties of grading and holding office hours with excellence, he consistently goes the extra mile — identifying student needs, creating additional learning opportunities, and contributing meaningfully to instruction"
